Some sales people think using email to sell everything is the best idea. But the truth it is not. It is not a good idea to replace calls with emails when contacting with a potential client. Some people use email to sell products, to avoid the humiliation of rejection. Also the major disadvantage of taking this approach is that there can be a possibility of not getting an email while awaiting a transaction related to a sales process.

More than seventy five percent of the businesses today have replaced calls with emails, and in the process has lost the personal touch. The reason why businesses do this is that feel awkward to face rejection when speaking directly to the customer. It hurts less to hear a no though an email. Some people get tired of hearing the voicemails repeatedly. They think it’s a better idea to switch to emails.

When trying to sell products or services to a new client, it is not possible to gain customer’s trust through an email, which makes the foundation of a long-term relationship, weak. Some well to do firms, think that they are recognized in the market but they forget that there are strict spam filters installed, these firms take the risk of sending introductory emails to potential customer. There are very little chances that the customer will receive the email and will read it. But when calling a potential customer, there is a higher probability of the customer receiving the call and all the resources invested will be put good use.

If the company still thinks that sending emails to clients is the best approach, some points should be taken care of. The introductory email contains introduction about the company, brief information
about the products and services they offer and information about method of purchase and contact. All the information included in the email should give the impression to the reader that the company is interested in benefiting the customer and not themselves.

The introductory email should sound like it’s trying to solve the problems and try to build a strong relationship with the prospective customer. For this the targeted people should be thoroughly studied in order to understand their shortcomings and what wonders they would expect from a particular product. In the first time itself; do not mention that the company and the client is a good match for each other. Sales pitches should be repelled completely.

Don’t put the company’s name in the heading of the email. When the company’s name is included in the heading, the customer gets the impression that profit of the company is its top priority and not interest of the customer. It’s a good marketing strategy to include the name of the product being sold, features of the product and how it can solve the problem of the reader. The subject should tell it all, and should also catch the attention in the first glance itself.

Its best to start emailing the customer after the foundation of a strong long-term relationship is laid first. At first the customers should be personally approached. Later when the customer’s trust is
gained, further dealings can be done through emails. Emails should only act as a back up method of communicating. Take care that word like “we” should be avoided and replaced with the word “you”. The customer feels that he is being directly referred too.

There should be no negativity in the matter. This sets the mind of the customer in a negative mood and he will actually get the opposite message. For example, instead of writing ‘We don’t sell low quality products’, write ‘We sell high quality products’. Don’t condition the customer. This creates a pressure on the customer and they will start to avoid any calls and emails from the company.

Emails can be used during difficult times. Suppose some soreness erupted between the parties or at least from the side of the customer, emails written with polite and gentle words can melt the toughness and can open up good terms again. The best thing is to stop using email as the only way of communicating, completely. Companies that directly reach out to clients reflect higher level of confidence and create a good impression on new customers.

The holidays are coming, are you ready? If you are like most people, one of the biggest concerns about holidays is “eating right” or “gaining weight” during the holidays.

If you are concerned with the health value of the foods that you eat, as we all should be, it is important to learn about which foods are the healthiest for you. Healthy foods include a healthy variety of different foods from all of the food groups, but if you want to make the most healthy choices, here are the best foods to eat on a regular basis:

From the vegetable food group, try foods that are green and pack a lot of punch when it comes to vitamins and mineral. Good choices include kale, asparagus, celery, peas, green beans, and spinach. Of course, regardless of color, most vegetables are very healthy for your diet. You can also choose carrots, eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, potatoes, squash, and yams to round out your vegetable intake. The same goes for fruits—look for natural products that are high in nutritional value, like apples, bananas, figs, oranges, pears, plums, raspberries, grapes, lemons, and watermelon.

When it comes to meat, fish, and dairy, there are a variety of good choices you can make. Look for products that are low in fat and cholesterol. Of meat and fish, try lean beef, lamb, cod, chicken breast, turkey, shrimp, scallops, tuna, and venison. From the dairy food group, 2% milk, yogurt, eggs, and low-fat cheese are all good choices.

Of course, getting your daily dose of nuts and grains is important too for carbohydrates and extra protein. Nut and seed products such as almonds, flaxseeds, extra virgin olive oil, peanuts, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds are tasty and good for your health. In bread and other grain products, look for foods that include barley, corn, buckwheat, oats, rye, and whole wheat. Stay away for white bread as much as possible in favor of these wheat or whole-grain products.

If you feel like you need a sweet sugary fix, staying away from products like soda and candy is important for a healthy diet. Instead, look for natural sweeteners, like honey, maple syrup, and molasses, which all add that sweetness you desire without hurting your diet. Love lots of flavor? You don’t need sugar of fat for that either! Try healthy spices like basil, black pepper, cilantro, dill, ginger, oregano, peppermint, rosemary, sage, and thyme, which are great to give bland foods a kick.

Above all, drink a lot of water to stay hydrated throughout the day. This should replace drinks like soda that are bad for your body. Green tea is another great drink for you, or you can look for water with flavorings and carbonation to get that soda-like taste without all the empty calories.

Above everything else, don’t let food become an obsession for you over the holidays. If you eat healthy during the week, splurging a little on the weekend should not make you feel guilty. Just know that on Monday you will go back to good healthy eating again and you can enjoy your holidays and enjoy your holiday treats in moderation and not feel guilty at all.

As you know, being “organized” is a very popular topic. There are even whole stores, such as The Container Store and Hold Everything, which are devoted to the idea of becoming organized. It seems that everyone is always trying to find a way to become more organized.

Many people mistakenly believe that being organized requires too much effort. Sometimes people think that the only people who can actually become organized are uptight. That is not true! If you have ever wondered what the fuss about being organized is, here are some reasons as to why this is such a popular topic:

Being organized reduces stress. When someone is disorganized, they often feel a lot of stress, anxiety, and generally overwhelmed. They may not be able to locate missing items, they may find their selves constantly running late or forgetting things, and they may be prone to missing work deadlines.

When someone is organized they will be able to find what they are looking for, will be less likely to forget things, and will find that will be more likely to arrive for meetings on time and turn work in before the due date. An organized person will feel more confident because of those things and their stress levels will go down.

As we mentioned before, many people feel that organized people are uptight. Being organized can actually help you to relax. Instead of worrying about things you didn’t have time to do or couldn’t find, an organized person can actually sit back at the end of the day and know that they achieved the things that needed to be done.

Another great reason to get organized is that being organized increases your productivity, and therefore, can increase your bank account. When you are organized, you will be able to get more work done. Depending on the type of job you have, the more work that gets done can generally lead to bigger paychecks and a bigger bank account.

Being organized can help you create a sense of calm and peace in all aspects of your life. Once you have organized one area of your life, you will start to notice that things seem to run more smoothly in all areas of your life.

First introduced in 1971, the Crock-Pot revolutionized the way we cook meals. The word Crock-Pot is actually trademarked by Rival Industries, but is used in every day conversations instead of the term slow cooker. Many recipes for the crock-pot require little preparation. The slow cooker can then safely be left to run unattended, making it a convenient cooking method.

Crock-pot meals can not only save you time in the kitchen, but they can also save you money as well. The reasons are as follows:

1. It keeps you out of the fast food line. If you had not loading up the crock-pot with the ingredients this morning you’d likely be in the drive through line at the local fast food restaurant this afternoon after work, grabbing a meal for your family. The average fast food meal for a family of four rings up over $20.

2. Stretches your dollar. Most crock-pot recipes and meals can truly stretch your food dollar. Because you can put a whole chicken in the crock-pot to cook then cut it up for several meals, you can stretch your budget with the use your leftovers.

3. Cuts your grocery budget. You can save money at the butcher since the slow cooking process is especially useful to tenderize cheaper cuts of meat.

4. Saves on your energy bill. Instead of running a larger appliance like the stove you are running one small energy conservative appliance, the crock-pot, saving on your energy costs.

The convenience of the slow cooker not only saves you time, but will also save you money. Don’t you think it’s time to take it out of your closet (or wherever you have it packed away collecting dust) and make a Crock-Pot meal today?

Have more month left than money? Many people struggle with this issue. One of the best ways to save money and truly stretch your dollars all the way to the end of the month is to live a more frugal lifestyle.

Yes, frugality is key. Being frugal with one’s life does not mean that you will live a life, doing without and hoarded away. Frugal living is actually very freeing. Frugal living frees up your finances to work harder and smarter for you so that you in turn do not have to work so hard to actually bring in an income.

In a time where 40% of Americans live beyond their means, meaning they spend more monthly than they make, finding ways to save and learning to be more frugal sounds like a winning idea. There are a few key concepts that one must adopt in order to begin living a more frugal lifestyle.

Smarter money management. A person must begin to not only spend less money, but also manage the money they have in a smarter way. This can take some time and discipline but will truly pay off in the end.
Spending less. A person must also learn how to spend less than they make. This can be a difficult process for some who have spent more than their paycheck for a long time, however if they adopt some frugal living ideas they can be doing this in no time.

Saving. With the money that they save through not spending as much, they can begin to put away money into savings; another key to frugal living that will help a person to get ahead. Continuing the process. Continuing to spend more and save less is key.

Adopting some key concepts to frugal living can truly change the way you live your life, and the way that your money works for you. Become different from the norm and begin a smarter, more frugal lifestyle today.

It’s the dream of many working moms or moms who are faced with the need to go back to work and leave their little ones behind. If you’ve wondered what it takes to be a Full Time WAHM (work at home mom), this post includes a resource to help you in that very direction.

Let’s be clear, running an online business from your home takes careful planning, discipline and energy. When you work outside the home, it’s easy to separate work and family life. When you bring the two together, chaos can erupt and there can be a big learning curve to getting it right.

But you can beat that learning curve!

One way to do it is to learn from other moms who have been there, done that. Luckily Just Add Sweat’s “Full Time WAHM Success Blueprint” brings you the success stories of 22 moms all earning a full time income from home.

You’ll learn exactly how they make money, the top 3 techniques they use to grow their business, their biggest mistakes (so you can avoid them!) and what finally brought them to a full time income.

Learn about these 22 amazing ladies and get your copy at: Just Add Sweat

Not only will their stories inspire you, but they’ll give you the practical advice you need to become a Full Time WAHM.

I find out, I was actually telling you the wrong blog to vote for (well sort of). Let me explain, I have two (maybe more, I can’t remember) Work At Home Mom 24/7 blogs, they are just on different platforms, one at Wordpress, one right here on Blogdumps the Greatest Blog Platform ever (your welcome Wolfbernz <g>). Well….. I didn’t finish looking at the list over there at WAHM 2.0 and I was telling you to Vote for my Wordpress Blog, no harm done but, it may split my votes and cause me to lose (sad face!)

Ok so, if you are inclined to Vote again, and me being originally from Chicago where our voting motto was “Vote Early, Vote Often” I say what the heck why not go over and vote for me some more. I am actually listed as “Work At Home Mom 24/7 by Sandy Sopin” further down the list, and as always would appreciate you multiple votes.

Thank you, and God Bless America! (I had to add that because every campaign I have seen ends that way, so, I think that is what you are supposed to say!)

Anyway, I need your votes. WAHM 2.0 is trying to find the Top 10 WAHM website as voted by you the women who like to read the websites. My sites is one of those up for a vote and they are giving away a TON of cool products I would really love!

So, I am asking you to take a minute…. come on, that is all it will really take, go over to their website WAHM2.0 and vote for Work At Home Mom Making Money At Home by Sandy….
